Lack of proper exercise can have a profoundly negative impact on the health and happiness of our dogs. With our busy lives and pressure of work and family, it's not always possible to give our dogs the number or length of walks they need, especially if you have a particularly energetic breed.

I can help ensure that your dog is getting the exercise they need and with access to open countryside right on my doorstep, I can cater to any length of walk required. Both of my dogs are high energy and go on 2-3 walks a day of at least an hour.

It's important that both you and your dog are comfortable with me and so I always recommend an initial introduction meeting at your home. During this visit we can discuss all of your needs, including:

• Days and times of day required
• Preferred length of walk
• Instruction around temperament, worries/ fears, on/off lead preference 

You can also take this opportunity to ask me any questions and let me know any other specific requirements. It's also a great chance for your dog to meet me, so that they feel comfortable the next time they see me.

Dogs are incredibly social creatures and as integral members of our family, can feel very alone when we are away for extended periods. Some dogs can get very lonely which can lead to behavioural problems, in particular separation anxiety.

Whether a one off whilst out for the day or regular day care due to work commitments, I can offer your dog a home from home. Your dog will be treated like one of the family, in my home, not in kennels in the garden. Whilst with us they will:

• Have their own bed (either provided by you or I can supply)
• Comfy spot on the sofa or they can laze in front of one of our wood burners after a cold or wet walk.
• Companionship from myself, my family and my 2 dogs
• 1-2 walks depending on the amount of time they are with me

Your dog will be with my family and I and our 2 friendly dogs, getting all the love and attention they need, so you can have peace of mind whilst out for the day.

I can provide a pick up/drop off service for local areas around Dorking.

I can also cover overnight stays, weekends and longer periods (our longest stay has been 8 days) on request and if available.
